The process of planting saplings has started at Herat University.

Hajji Mawlawi Abdulali Motqi, the head of the Environmental Protection Department of Herat Province, visited the sapling planting process at Herat University. He welcomed this noble initiative and mentioned that the Environmental Protection Department also plans to donate 5,000 various saplings to this academic institution next week.
Additionally, the head of the Environmental Protection Department in Herat announced an environmental seminar to be held at the university, stating: "We plan, in cooperation with the leadership of Herat University, to organize an environmental seminar for the officials of Emirati institutions at the university."
Hafiz Mohammad Bashir Mujahid, the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the university, expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the Herat Environmental Protection Department and said: "This year, our administration intends, in collaboration with the respected provincial authorities and the Environmental Protection Department, to plant 25,000 saplings according to the master plan at the Faculty of Medicine, the teaching hospital, and other areas of the university. Alhamdulillah, this process has started today, and it is expected to continue in the coming days."
He also promised full support for organizing the environmental seminar.
