Maulvi Mohammad Musa Fayeq, the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Herat University, met with Sheikh Al-Quran Wal-Hadith Maulvi Neda Mohammad Nadim, the Honorable Minister of Higher Education, to discuss the advancement of the university's academic initiatives. During the meeting, he expressed gratitude for the ministry's comprehensive support for universities and higher education institutions across the country and discussed various academic matters and developmental programs for Herat University.
The meeting included discussions on the proposals of Herat University's leadership, such as establishing a master’s program in the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, creating a Faculty of Mining Geology, and setting up three new departments (Basic Sciences, Highways, Transportation, and Energy) within the Faculty of Engineering. These proposals were well received by the Minister of Higher Education, who provided the necessary directives in this regard.
